Gaari Dumar management structure is designed to encourage flexibility and autonomy on the part of its core management team and subordinate staff. The structure encourages intellectual creativity and innovation among staff members and volunteers to be productive in desirable working conditions. It is also designed to ensure transparency and accountability. The key management organs of Gaari Dumar comprise the Chair person, Executive Director, Program Coordinator, Admin/Finance and subordinate staff. For the smooth day to day operations as well as effective and efficient administration interventions.
Gaari Dumar’s Operational Philosophy
Gaari Dumar’s programs are founded on the understanding that local people are essentially responsible for their own development. This is realized through participatory approaches as effective tools in achieving broad-based development. Programs are open to all without discrimination on the basis of religion, age, gender, race or tribal affiliation though special attention is given to women.
The promotion of virtues of integrity, truthfulness, tolerance, service, mutual cooperation and understanding remain integral in all Gaari’s activities.
Funding Sources
Gaari Dumar Center is a non-profit NGO that depends on both local and international donors to be able to carry out its programs and indeed to support the most vulnerable communities. The donors include UN agencies, International NGOs, government agencies, local communities.
Gaari Dumar Beneficiaries and Target Groups
Gaari Dumar’s beneficiaries are residents of the Somalia. But due to the nature of the organization, the major beneficiaries are women and youth, beside the youth and women groups, the community members are among the recipients of the organization services. The general beneficiaries of the organization services are the residents of Somalia.
